About Sheri
Sheri Spaine Long is an accomplished scholar, author, editor, award-winning teacher, and educational leader. She specializes in Spanish language, literature, and culture, as well as emerging trends in language pedagogy and international education.
Sheri’s publications include articles, chapters, and reviews, in addition to her recent top-selling textbooks: Nexos. Introductory Spanish, 4th ed., and Alianzas. Intermediate Spanish, 2nd ed.
Sheri has the unique distinction of serving/having served as the Editor-in-Chief of two flagship journals for two national professional associations: Hispania (AATSP) and Foreign Language Annals (ACTFL).
A regular presenter and invited speaker, she actively engages the public and profession through conference presentations, webinars, workshops, and keynotes. Sheri has delivered talks from Havana to Beijing and across the United States.
